The Moonlighters – Right On Brother b/w Lonely Baby – Lamp 7″

Another ‘upfront’ KILLER ‘Northern Funk’ in-demander on the label that gifted us with the Vanguards-‘Sound of Soul’ anthem. As so often these ‘social content’ early/mid-70s records with message are so good and pure, also they sound so ‘honest’  in opposite to the back then trendy stinkin’ hippie ones which also claimed to make society better for everone and not only themselves.

This is a dancefloor weapon for clever ‘real’ deejays who want to add a jewel to their repertoire which is actually ‘VERY RARE’, flipside is a very well arranged Harmony/Sweet Soul tune with great vocals.

Being an original non-major label US Mid-West ‘indie’ label 45 which possibly might not have sold so well BECAUSE of it’s message it is very unlikely that another copy will come up for sale anytime soon and there can be only ONE tasteful quality Soul customer own this pure quality ‘Real Soul’ 45.
