Peter-Thomas-Sound-Orchester – Raumpatrouille – Philips GER 7″

Said to be the very first record using that ‘vocooder-robot-thing’ so long before Kraftwerk and cool in itself trough its groovy Hammond shakin’ vibe. Both Peter Thomas and Kraftwerk coming from that ‘marching’ robot-country named Germany, make us think about that coincidence why this phenomenon happened exactly there? Maybe something to think about but then even more confusing, why did French popular hit-makers ‘Daft Punk’ later on adopt this element and torture the worldwide public with that originally ‘boche’ thing? A mystery, at least to ourselves, but how much better would some of their records possibly sound without that cheapo-signature? Anyway, this record here is a timeless peace of history, this we can be sure of, so grab  it before it’s gone.
