Nothing much needs to be said about Brit Soul/Mod icon Geno Washington whose contribution to the UK Soul scene since its very beginning in the mid-60s is hopefully well known enough – other than this is a previously unreleased version of the Precisions’ Twisted Wheel classic, recorded for Pye in 1967 but for some reason left in the vaults until now. On the B-side we find another unreleased Pye gem, a version of Ray Pollard’s seminal Northern classic by the otherwise completely unknown
