THE SOUND… AUTHENTIC!
THE RHYTHM… IRRESISTIBLE!
THE BAND…
…THE SKATANAUTS.
“Mix equal parts passion and performance, add a dash of vintage flair and serve oh so cool. It’s the latest from The Skatanauts, the perfect audio liberation for these armagideon times. Twelve tracks that nod to the past while looking straight at the world today. That’s The Skatanauts recipe. Make room on the top shelf for your new favourite album!”
The Skatanauts fuse Latin, Caribbean Jazz and R&B into authentic Jamaican Ska – the sound that shook the world in 1964. Inspired by pioneers like the original Skatalites, they channel the raw, infectious Kingston vibe of the mid-60s making it their very own musical concoction. Every track is arranged with care and recorded live on acoustic instruments through vintage analogue gear, capturing the energy of this timeless beat. Their mission is simple: to make you RUN COME DANCE!
