Fast Eddie – Shake A Tail Feather – Acid Jazz UK LP

Last year Acid Jazz had a very special release on their group label Countdown Records: Fast Eddie – ‘Shake A Tail Feather’ – a vinyl collection of lost recordings from one of the most exciting live acts of the early ‘80s Mod and R&B scene.

The record represents an important early chapter in Acid Jazz’s story – Fast Eddie were managed and produced by Acid Jazz founder Eddie Piller, in his first foray as a music mogul.

Expect high-octane club R&B and Blues, following on from the foundation of Dr. Feelgood, in their native Thames Delta.

The release proved extremely popular and the original pressing sold out. Acid Jazz had a lot of requests, so they are offering a repress, this time in a fitting, and limited-edition, dark blue. If you missed it the first time round and want to revisit this fantastic collection, now is the time – get yours now.
