VA – This Is Reggae – Pama BD LP

Very rare Barbados press of this classic vintage Pama label Skinhead Reggae album from 1969!

When Trojan was ‘Coca-Cola’, the Pama label was ‘Pepsi’, not as wide-spread and less known, but more exclusive and partly cooler than it’s opponent.

And they’re all on this ‘Caribbean press’, first up Pama’s answer to Trojan’s ‘Skinhead Moonstomp’ by Derrick Morgan who’s doin’ the ‘Moonhop’ , Owen Grey, Pat Kelly, Upsetters, Max Romeo, Laurel Aitken, Slim Smith, Lloyd Charmers and many more.

We think this is a one-off item as it’s the 1969 Barbados press and not the ‘normal’ UK release.
