*OFFERS!* Frederick Hymes III – Time Ain’t Gonna Do Me No Favor b/w Every Day Will Be Like A Holiday – Fab Vegas 7″

Super in-demand 1971 Crossover Soul floorpacker outta Las Vegas, Nevada which took the UK’s & Continental Europe’s Rare Soul scenes ‘by storm’. What a soulful affair driven by a heavy bassy instro-backing track with touches of that brilliant ‘Tighten Up’ rhythm, a record that lightens up the dancefloor.

This one stood the test of time and has established itself as a real stone classic starting as a relative ‘newie’ in the early 2000’s. Being a ‘two-known-copies affair’ at one time back then, it’s now some 20 years later, after a limited stock turned up with the price going down for a while, more in demand than ever due to it’s quality.

On the flipside we have a ‘Real Soul’ interpretation of the 1967 William Bell Stax classic which is pure slow-paced quality SOUL aswell.

The 45 seems to be a ‘private press’ made by the artist himself to sell at gigs with no publisher listed on the label, there must be some 2nd pressings around later done by Mr. Hymes himself, as far as our research goes we never had anything else here but the very 1st press copy.

We also added an imge with the 1971 Billboard magazine clip from 1971 which seems to be the only media mention of the record from the US back then to underline it’s authenticity.

What a winner of a record and a clever investment aswell.
