Lonnie Liston Smith – Visions Of A New World – Flying Dutchman UK LP

Lonnie Liston Smith is one of those artists who never made a bad album and with “Expansions” he laid down an all time classic.

This was released early in 1975 but by the end of that year he had served up another brilliant album with “Visions Of A New World”.

Recorded with his band the Cosmic Echoes it did not create as many waves as “Expansions” but over time has been acknowledged as one of his finest sets. Mediative, soulful and addictive every track is a gem especially those such a ‘A Change For Peace’ and ‘Colors Of The Rainbow’ graced with the vocals of Lonnie’s brother.

Ace are delighted to bring “Visions Of A New World” back into the Ace catalogue as part of our comprehensive reissue of all of his Flying Dutchman LPs.
