Betty Barney was a New York-based singer who sang with the Pazant Brothers, who provide the musical propulsion on her super-rare Sister Funk single ‘Momma Momma’, originally released on GWP. The label thought it so good that they stripped off the vocals and released it again as an instrumental by the Chili Peppers, allowing Bgp to release one hell of a double-sider.
