Etta James – Seven Day Fool b/w Doug Banks – I Just Kept On Dancing – Chess 7″

Two Chicago Northern Soul/R’n’B mega-classic floorfillers back-to-back. Seven Day Fool is an R&B song written by Billy Davis, and first recorded by Etta James for Argo Records. Although not a big hit upon release (#95 US pop chart), the track has since become very well-known and in demand on the Northern Soul and Mod scenes in the UK.
