New 7″ from Japans legendary Kyoto Jazz Massive, who recently released their album “The Message From a New Dawn”.
This critically acclaimed LP was great all around, but their collaboration with jazz-funk legend Roy Ayers “Get Up” was arguably the best.
DJ Kawasaki re-edited it two times, the first being the “45 Edit”, which is more compact than the original, while not missing out on any instrumental solos or vocal sections.
The “Roy’s Vibestrumental Mix” on the other hand skips the vocal section alltogether and focuses on Roy Ayer’s amazing vibraphone solos, which for sure deserve an instrumental only track.
