Nina & Jeji Kapela – Ach, Bože Zvedni Telefon b/w Ach, Bože Zvedni Telefon (Hammond Instrumental) – Memory 7″

Prague’s Memory Records have taken up the mantle of the funky 60s and 70s recordings of then-Czechoslovakia, with a glorious cover of the Flying Stars’ neo-Soul groover My God Has A Telephone in Czech, backed with an up-tempo Hammond instrumental version of the same tune. A worthy entry in the style of Colemine and other equally distinguished keepers of the New Soul flame like Royal Crown. Picture sleeve and strictly limited to 500 copies.
