Joe Coleman – Get It Off The Ground (DJ Spinna Edit) – Record Shack AT DJ 7″ Clear Vinyl TEST CARVER *ONE-OFF 45!*

Killer edit of this well established 1982 Disco Boogie Modern Soul monster with Italo Disco appeal done by none other than the mighty DJ Spinna who put this already dazzling piece of dancefloor dynamite onto the next level, this one is set to smash every Modern Soul, Rare Disco & Soulful House dancefloor.

The 45 presented here is the very first ‘TEST CARVER’ made  with the purpose of seeing the reaction of the dance crowd at differently programmed events. We had the spontaneous idea to cut it onto transparent vinyl in order to make it a bit more ‘unique’ & contemporary looking when put onto the turntable at one of them clubs. It made us very proud that sadly passed away Detroit Techno legend Mike Huckaby liked the tune a lot and played it from this 45 presented here at one of the big electronic music events here in Vienna during his last visit over here in Europe. And yes, how great it was to see several 100ds of dancers who’ve never heard the tune before moving to it in pure excitement.

Same happened in London at Peckham’s legendary ‘South London Soul Train’ event when the same 7″ carver on offer here got UK premiere play on 4 differently themed floors on the same night when ourselves guested there and ‘borrowed’ it to big name players on every floor on that night like Snowboy, Andy Smith, Mickey Jazzheadchronic and Richio Suzuki.

Apart from that it also got played out at Vienna’s ‘SOUND of SOUL’ and ‘A Party Called Jack’ events much to the delight of the dancers some two months before it’s release.

This 7″ here is the one it had been done with, we could actually say this piece of transparent 7″ vinyl carries a lot of ‘Record Shack history’ with it, our ‘normal’ 7″ issue is *SOLD OUT*, we just have a few of the limited F1 presses left and are happy to offer this legendary 45, a true ONE-OFF record to own.

To secure ‘authenticity’: in theory everybody could get the tune cut to a transparent 7″ vinyl record, but the handwriting on the label, which is like a ‘signature’ makes it a unique, easy to identify one off piece coming directly from our very secret ‘Record Shack vinyl developement laboratories’.
