Pat Lewis – The Bottle b/w One Foot Before The Other – Wheelstown AT DJ 7″

*WAREHOUSE FIND!* VERY LAST COPIES!

Exclusive version of Gil Scott-Heron’s 70s ANTHEM which never got out of fashion being an eternal masterpiece outta Black America standing above any ‘sub-genre-scene’ like Jazz-Funk, Northern Soul or whichever.

Without ‘fighting’ or wanting to be ‘better’ than the original, it can only be interesting when the legendary Ian Levine records a back then ‘new’ version of ‘The Bottle’ in 1998 now already 2+ decades ago.

Then for us of special interest when this never really got released apart form a few white label 45s handed out to some top league Northern Soul deejays back then.

Somehow ourselves had a copy of this playing it out at the back then MASSIVE Modern Soul room at our SOUND of SOUL events here in Vienna, resulting into the next logical step to ask Ian to put it out on a proper 7″ vinyl release during our fruitful Ian Levine/Record Shack collaboration period.

The result is this very much in demand, totally *SOLD OUT* limited edition ‘Austrian Only’ first press 7″ which we are happy to be able to offer ONE demo copy of to our customers.

It’s a ‘Northern House’ affair aswell on a *LIMITED ‘WHITELABEL’ 7″ DEEJAY PRESS with ONLY 30 COPIES MADE!*
