Patti & The Emblems – I’m Gonna Love You A Long, Long Time b/w My Heart’s So Full Of You – Kapp DJ 7″

Mega-alltime-classic uplifting, actually genre-defining Northern Soul smash outta Philly which stood the test of time. This is a 100% vintage 60s US original in lower grade condition, which must have been played a lot by the previous owner. Nevertheless the sound is definaltely ‘OK for deejaying’, it’s priced accordingly, copies sold for £1000+.Please check the soundfile which we recorded from the actual record.

An interesting detail can be seen in the the run-out groove: there’s the initials of very likely a well known UK ‘big name’ Northern Soul deejay scratched in.  This was done mostly during the 70s, a way to mark a record to be able to convict a thief in case the record got nicked and to identify the copy after  then possibly turning up on the market again.

This is actually a real piece of Noerthern Soul history, a timeless masterpiece and as we’d think, even despite the lower condition grade, a bargain.
