The Platters – Devri b/w Alone In The Night – Musicor 7″

So very classic tune which got played out over here a lot at our early Soul events after hearing it on those so very influential Kent compilations. And it was and still is an affordable record of pure quality which can easily be played alongside ‘big’ expensive tunes. This is a 45 that shows that it’s about SELECTION and SEARCHING for SOUL vinyl not only about buying the same expensive spotlight tunes like everyone desperate for some ‘recognition’ as ‘deejay wizard’. How boring is that,  MONEY CAN’T BUY REAL SOUL.
