Oscar Brown Jr – Movin’ On – Atlantic LP

Before Gil Scott-Heron and Curtis Mayfield, there was the original hipster poet Oscar Brown Jr. This album comes from his later funky period, but with the same wit and clever lyrics that were the hallmark of his earlier work in Jazz.
