Tyree Glenn Jr – Superbad! The Best Of Tyree Glenn Jr – Tramp LP

Over the last couple of years, TRAMP Records has done much to raise awareness of the work of Tyree Glenn Jr, an American rhythm & blues, soul, funk and jazz musician/band leader who has resided in Germany for well over 35 years, and have now compiled his first career retrospective indluding hot live cuts from the late 70s and heavy-duty seriously funky workouts like his covers of Kool & The Gang, Ides Of March and the James Brown classic after which the comp is named. The initial 300 copies come with a 45 of his earliest recording from 1964. Both versions include a full album download code and a photo postcard of Glenn’s first band, Glenn & The Imperials.
