Pat Lewis – The Bottle b/w One Foot Before The Other – Wheelstown AT 7″

Exclusive version of the eternal Gil Scott-Heron 70s dancefloor classic, released on a limited first press 7″ single by Record Shack here in Vienna in 2016 with only 300 copies made.

Detroit Soul legend Pat Lewis laid her sublime vocal over the tight backing track produced by Ian Levine in 1998, the tune works perfectly on Soul and House dancefloors alike. It never saw an official release and only got pressed on a very small run of whitelabel 45s a few decades ago and completely sould out, this is the last copy we have left from the release made by us during the fruitful Ian Levine/Record Shack collaboration period, a limited edition ‘Austrian Only’ first press on one of Ian’s imprints.
