Record Shack is plotting to supply pure Soul.
Keep it a secret , but there’s ‘Another Woman Involved’… and her name is Majorie.
Marjorie Ingram to be exact, a quite unknown Memphis Belle with a voice to die for and a beat dance to.
This serious Soul number was recorded back in 1977, placing it in that ‘Modern Soul’ catagorie, it’s one of these most wanted ones with some of that veritable Northern Soul flavour.
Recorded back then at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound in the Deep South of USA in Alabama it took 30 years for this previously unissued banger to see to the light of day.
Finally released by UK-based quality label Hit-and-Run, and it only ever got pressed in very limited numbers.
And: we have it in stock, but here’s what Record Shack has secured for you, as so often with those exclusive vinyl treasures just few copies of the ultra-limited demo version!
This is as authentic and rare as it can and without a doubt something really extra special.
