Maurice Williams – Look My Way b/w Walter Wilson – Not Now But Later – Kent Deep Soul 7″

Maurice Williams was a prolific New Orleans artist who recorded for over a dozen labels. His stay at Scepter was short, with one 45 released, but Kent found a third track in the vaults, the moody and atmospheric ballad ‘Look My Way’. Until now it was only on a Kent LP but is now on the format it was recorded for. The beautiful sweet soul flip was also thought to be unreleased until a Wand copy was discovered at producer Billy Jackson’s apartment. For mortals who don’t have thousands of pounds to spend on one US 45, it is now available at a realistic price.
