Kenny Carter is a consummate 60s Soul singer who was about to have an album released on RCA with Larry Banks’ ballad ‘You’d Better Get Hip Girl’ having been a key track close to Soul heaven, but never released apart from this 45 here backed with a Dynamics’ song which he admired so much that he cut it as a duet with his partner Jaibi shortly afterwards but neither version was released at the time, both available here on a strictly limited ‘Select’ edition
